Unique expression of the Beni Quarain Tribe
It is very rare indeed to find a collection of rugs so drenched in tradition, that look so effortlessly stylish in contemporary settings. These spectacular rugs originate from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Members of the Beni Quarain tribe have been making Berbers almost since the time they settled in the area over twelve hundred years ago. Interestingly the original use of the traditional Berber was as warm bedding, hence their long shaggy wool pile. Every rug design has a gorgeous irregularity to it, created from memory and woven with pot dyed yarn.
